Do you think it is important to learn driving?

Absolutely, for myself, I consider driving is a necesaary ability for a man. And it is enjoyable when I steer my car, although with the development of technology, automatic drive is not far away from our normal life.

What do you think of the transport situation in your hometown?

I have to say the transport condition in my hometown is crap, I am used to drive my dad's car even though the traffic has been heavy. As a small city, the roads and streets are too narrow in most old areas of my hometown to pass easily. And there is not the subway, the other public transports are in the same situation as private cars.

What's the most popular means of transportation in your hometown?

I would say the car, you know, with the development of economy, civilians have been richer than before, they have been willing to spend their spare money on private cars. Consequently, private cars became the most popular way for people to travel.

What do you think of the transport in your city?

I'd like to talk about the transportation of changsha. As we all know, with the rapid development of economy, many roads and metro lines have been built in the past few years in changsha. And I reckon that it is convinent for civilian's travel and life indeed. That's wonderful.

What will become the most popular means of transportation in china?

If current trends continue, the subway would be the main choice for citizens to travel or commute I guess. Because I suppose with the enhancement of people's awareness of environmental protection, they would prefer to take the public transports but the bus is too crowded and that's never going to happen that subway got stuck in traffic. So, taking the underground will be the next tendency.

Would you say transport costs are high in your hometown?

It depends on what you are looking to get to. Bus prices vary, but are mostly on a local basis, not for moving from city to city. Prices depend entirely on the distance, for long distance route, train might be the best cost.

What form of transport do you usually use?

It depends. You know, when I live in a metropolis such as changsha, shanghai or beijing. The underground would be my first choice, but if I stay in other cities where have not built subways yet, I suppose taking taxis or call a express car by app will be more convinent.

Can you compare the advantages and disadvantages of planes and trains?

Okay, from my perspective, trains are the best way to travel long distances in my country with reasonable prices. Besides, travelling by train is very comfotable and speedy. Especially when high-speed rail is widely used in China, people can travel more savely, quickly and convinently. Air trsvel is becoming more popular as it's faster, which is better suited for cross-border travel. But it's a bit of expensive and people have to waste much time to arrive at the airport before the departure time. What's more, flights are often late or delayed.

How has the transport system in your hometown changed in the past few decades?

Perhaps the most noticeable change in the past ten years I guess is the construction of a high-speed railway station. Because of the development, it's convenient for civilians to come and go between cities.

Why did you choose that form of transport?

The main reason why I prefer to take the underground is due to its conveniences. It's too crowded on the bus, thus, I guess the subway would be a better replacement. Besides, the price of subway is cheaper than the counterpart of other transports in a same distance. What's more, it's almost impossible to get stuck in traffic on the subway, so it's a good time-saver.

When was the last time you took a taxi?

Well, I guess the day before yesterday was my last time when I took a taxi. Because I had to attend a birthday party of my best friend. But nowadays there is lesser people choosing to take a taxi, instead they use some app to call their express car, like didi.
