This triggers another event to clear out or restore the page to what it originally was

An input operation is something that can be stored to RAM and then displayed on screen. Examples of this would be a keyboard, digital camera or scanner. The Output operation is information that is stored in RAM, is displayed as a output. Examples are a printer and monitor.
