Domaine Pégau Plan Pégau MV

Description: Domaine Pégeau is one of the gold standard benchmark producers of Châteauneuf-du-Pape Vin de France that is a blend of three different vintages of some of the best holdings just outside CDP proper. Blend of Grenache, Syrah, Old Vine Carignan, and a touch of Merlot. Pegau is an old provencal term for an ancient jug used for wine discovered during the excavations of the 14th century at the Pope's Palace of Avignon. Cidrerie du Vulcain, Transparente Cidre Sec 2018 (organic)

REGION- Fribourg, Switzerland Varietals- Transparente de Croncels Apples Description- Located in Fribourg, Switzerland, Cidrerie du Vulcain is named after the local Vulcain (Red Admiral) butterfly that feeds on the juice of fallen apples. Originally founder Jacques Perritaz became interested in wine and did some short internships with Swiss wineries before finding neglected apple and pear trees that truned out to be ancient cider varieties. Inspired by Normandy's Eric Bordelet, he started taking some ancient cider apples and producing ciders of unpresented purity and complexity. The Transparente is a dry cuvee made from native heirloom apples, wild yeast, and using traditional methods. Flavors of tart apple pie with cinnamon with savory acidity and hints of salt with a lightness of texture that makes it deliciously Alpine and refreshing.

REGION- Vista Flores, Uco Valley Mendoza, Argentina GRAPE- Malbec Description- Sourced from Luigi Bosca's La Linda vineyard in the Lujan de Cuyo region of Mendoza. Vines average 30 years and sit at an elevation of 3100 feet La Linda displays true varietal typicity of Malbec from the Lujan de Cuyo. Bright notes of violets are present, along with ripe red fruit aromas. The wine ends super fresh and vibrant due to the high level of chalk in the solid and high elevation cool climate.

Region: Sauternes, Bordeaux Grape: Semillon/Sauvignon Blanc Description: Château Rieussec is one of the great classified Chateaux of Sauternes. The Carems de Rieussec is the second label of Château Rieussec. The name of the wine comes from the former owners of the estate, the Caremelite Monks. REGION-Oporto, Portugal DESCRIPTION- Port is one of the great fortified wines of the world, meaning that fermentation is stopped midway through to retain the natural sugars. There are many styles of port including Late Bottled Vintage, Also known as LBV. LBV port is aged a min of 4yrs before release and does not require decanting. Stylistically it is very similar to a vintage port, in that it retains more of a fruit profile then a Tawny Port.

REGION-Oporto, Portugal DESCRIPTION- Port is one of the great fortified wines of the world, meaning that fermentation is stopped midway through to retain the natural sugars. There are many styles of port including Tawny Port which is one of the most well known. Its also a style that's produced the most. Tawny ports are produced in the same way as other styles then are aged in barrel. Because of the exposure to oxygen they tend to have nutty/toffee undertones. Once aged in barrel the wines are blended to create the house style, very similar manner to champagne houses. The year designation doesn't designate actual age but a target profile that is considered normal.

Description: tangy citrus expression with notes of pear, ginger spice, quince, and floral notes with an underlying chalky minerality. The wine is aged 36 months on the lees prior to disgorgement giving the characteristic biscuit, graham cracker, doughy expression that aging on the lees imbues.

Fresh, light to medium-bodied with beautiful structure and subtle flavors of citrus, flinty peaches, honey, and saline minerality.

Maximin Grünhaus Monopol

Region: Ruwer, Germany Grape: Riesling Description: The estate dates back to the 7th century, when it was given to the Benedictine monastery of St. Maximin in Trier. In 1882, it was purchased by an ancestor of Maximin von Schubert, who is the sixth generation of the family to own the Grünhaus estate. This wien is produced with fruit harvested from younger vines in both the Herrenberg and Abtsberg vineyards. It is made in the slightly off-dry "feinherb" style, perfectly capturing the exotic fruit and vibrant. Pure saline expression of white peach, wet rocks, lime zest, tangerine, and apricots.

La Cigarrera Manzanilla Sherry (E47)

Region: Sanlucar de Barrameda, Spain Grape: Palomino Description: Manzanilla is a very special type of fino sherry that can only be produced in the seaside town of Sanlucar de Barrameda. Due to this trait, Manzilla sherry's tend to take on more of a salty briny quality because of being aged by the shore. This Manzanilla is made from the finest Palomino grapes and is aged under flor (yeast film to preserve freshness and protext from oxygen) for 4 years before being bottlesd. This wine makes a great appertif paired well with charcuterie.

Comando G La Bruja de Rozas

Region: Sierra de Gredos, Vinos de Madrid DO Grape: Garnacha Description: Comando G was founded by Daniel Jiminez-Landi and Fernando Garcia in the rugged Sierra de Gredos area, a region that many say is Spain's best-kept viticultural secret. Produced from single-vineyard hand- harvested old Garnacha vineyards farmed with organic and biodynamic technique planted on granitic sand high up in the mountains west of Madrid. Perfumed expression of Grenache similar to the best of Chateauneuf's finest like Chateau Rayas but with a lighter more Burgundian feel in texture. Perfumed, energetic and fruit-forward but with a strong mineral nerve. Dense strawberry red fruit character with notes of garrigue with a slight balsamic character.
