14 Steps to Proper Handwashing

Step Eight

Pick up nail stick and clean under fingernails. Dispose of in regular garbage.

Step Two

Prepare paper toweling

Step Three

Prepare soap and lotion

Step Six

Pump soap into hands using a paper towel and properly dispose of towel.

Step Twelve

BLOT hands dry with paper towels and dispose of properly

Step Nine

Re-apply soap using paper towel on dispenser. Dispose properly.

Step One

Remove all jewelry...(rings, bracelets, watches, etc)

Step Eleven

Rinse downward into the sink

Step Five

Rinse hands FIRST to get wet....done before soap!

Step Seven

Rub hands together and lather

Step Four

Turn on water faucet with paper towel and properly dispose of it and adjust water temperature to lukewarm

Step Thirteen

Use another paper towel to pump Lotion onto hands...dispose of towel properly.

Step Fourteen

Use another paper towel to turn off water faucet and dispose of towel properly.

Step Ten

Wash hands for at least 1 minute. Washing between fingers and up the wrists.
