The situation that causes/shapes the mindset. - Uses Z-scores = Avg. mean score - Standard Deviation = 1

Define & explain Mood

Definition: An accumulation of emotional responses to events that combine to form a mindset. Description: - Diffuse response - Last long (i.e. weeks, months, and years) - Moods that last years = Disorders (i.e. Depression disorder)

Mood state: T-score(raw score) = BRUMS table T-score; interpretation (E.g) What is the tension score? Tension: T-score(10) = 63; This individual's tension level is much too high so it must be lowered to facilitate performance. Normal score for tension is 38. Anything higher than this would indicate the ID needs to lower their tension to facilitate performance.
