CREDIBLE SOURCE What is meant by a credible source of information?

Accurate, trustworthy and truthful

County tax records, census reports, birth, marriage, death cerificates, court and criminal records, public meeting minutes, government spending reports, laws, real estate records and vote records

PUBLIC RECORD What is a public record?

Documents or pieces of information that are not considered private or confidential

Fact, qualifications of an author, detecting bias and consistency

ADVOCACY GROUP What is an advocacy group?

Groups of individuals that advocate or work on behalf of or strongly support a particular issue, cause or piece of legislation

Need to keep their finger on the pulse of Washington.
