Abbey Road

- The name of the last Beatle's album, which was the name of the street EMI Studios, was on. - Eventually EMI studios were changed to Abbey Road Studios

Let It Be

- originally titled Get Back, the documentary and album that was McCartney's attempt to get the band to return to their roots - It was original shelved, but then released when the Beatles broke up a year later

Apple Corps

- the company the Beatles created that housed their own label, electronics division, film division, boutique, and also served as a tax shelter

Moog Synthesizer

- the exotic instrument brought to the Abbey Road sessions by George Harrison the twas invented by Robert Moog - It was a portable keyboard that ran on oscillators and sound generators

Hey Jude/Revolution

- the first hit single released on Apple Records - It would be the biggest selling single of the Beatles' catalogue

Billy Preston

- the keyboard player George Harrison Brough into the Let It Be Sessions in an attempt to ease tensions within the band

Allen Klein

- the manager John Lennon decided would take care of his affairs - Harrison and Starr sided with Lennon to have Klein represent the Beatles, but McCartney wanted Lee Eastman, a New York entertainment lawyer and father of his soon to be wife Linda, to manage the group - This led to further divisions in the band

The White Album

- the nickname for the Beatles' double album named simply the Beatles that was released in November 1968

Phil Spector

- the producer known for the "wall of sound" that added strings and voices to the final cut of Let It Be before its release, much to McCartney's dissatisfaction

Eric Clapton

- the renown British guitarist from Yardbirds and Cream that was befriended by George Harrison and brought to the White Album sessions to record Harrison's While My Guitar Gently Weeps. - He was the first outsider-rock start to record a prominent musical contribution on a Beatles track

the Hindu swami leading a spiritual movement in transcendental meditation that influenced the Beatles
