It does this by subtly and gradually shaping our standards about success, romance, and beauty. Then it leads us to believe that we are not living up to those standards.

What is truthfulness? - Truthfulness means that the story contains no lies, either by the sources used or by the journalist. Truthfulness also requires that journalists not make up facts to fill in the gaps of their stories or to "sweeten" their stories. c. What is neutrality? Address both the lack of bias and balance principles - Neutrality means that the story is free from journalistic bias or editorializing. This means that the journalist does not slant the story to convince the audience to think a certain way.
