The Czechoslovak New Wave was a movement in cinema beginning in 1963 and lasting until the end of the Prague Spring reforms of 1968. The arrival of this new wave of cinema pressured for social and political reform that developed both inside and outside of the Communist Party in the 1960s. A collective pressure that led to the abolition of censorship and the movement towards increased democratisation.

Munich Agreement
The Munich Agreement or Munich Pact was an international agreement established in 1938 which was designed to avoid war with Germany over Sudetenland. Sudetenland is the western of Czechoslovakia that was mainly inhabited by Germans. It gave power to Germany to control Czechoslovakia borders.
