Which definition/s of dance from chapter 1 do you feel is the most complete? Explain your answer (100 word requirement)
The definitions that feel most complete to me will be José Limón " Movement in order to have power and beauty, must spring from the organic center of the body. It must be intensely human, or it will be gymnastics, and be mechanical and empty" and Rishit Sheth "What is dance! Dance is entertainment. Experiencing the movement. Feeling the beat. Following the rhythm. Balancing the steps. Practicing on stage. Thats dance." These two definitions spoke to me because dance is something from the heart, dance is something fun to do and to just let go of any emotion. Dance is something beautiful and must flow well or it'll just look like gymnastics/acro as stated in José Limón's definition.

Explain your personal aesthetic with regard to dance. Include the sources or influences from which it developed. (100 words)
My personal aesthetic with a type of dance will have to be contemporary, the emotions that go into that style of dance just speaks to me. That style of dance has always be my go to, I tend to be really emotional my aesthetic of that really comes from my pass and having trouble expressing my feels so I always turned to that style and picked a sad song and I would be relieved. I don't have a picture perfect family mine is broken, my father only comes around when it benefits him, when it makes him look good, but what he doesn't know him not being there when I was growing really put a dent into my heart, and the only father figure I had was my grandpa which he recently passed away a couple of months ago. My family, Peers, and religion is what keeps me on my feet in going they let me know I have so much to live for, that I am capable of doing anything I set my to, and me being christian oh my I do not even know where ill be in life with out my God.
