A behavior analyst has decided to host a parenting workshop to generate more business for her practice. She explains to attendees that they should always seek professional help from a qualified BCBA for any kind of unwanted behavior. This is

misleading because many behavior problems do not require professional intervention.

A behavior analyst has recently compiled some of his research into a book for practitioners. If he includes any descriptions of his previously published results in the program materials, he

must include references to these publications.

A behavior analyst is presenting client data to an audience where several of the members personally know the client. The behavior analyst has taken care to deidentify the client's information and requests that audience members

not disclose that they know the client's identity.

A BCBA hosts an online forum on behavior analysis. Occasionally his own clients give unsolicited testimonials about the work he has done for them -- e.g., "If your child has autism, you can kiss his future goodbye unless he gets to be one of this BCBA's clients." The BCBA should

post a statement on the forum thanking the individual and clarifying that success cannot be guaranteed in every case.

You are using a video of a treatment procedure being implemented with a child for a workshop training. You have the required approvals and consent to use this video for this purpose. In terms of information about the child, you

reveal only what is necessary to support the goals and objectives of the training.
