Teller
A person who works at the bank.

Write one's signature on the back of check.
Signature
Your name written in your own handwriting.
Bank Statement
A statement received monthly from the bank that shows your bank transactions and balance
Transaction
Any business done with a the bank, such as a withdrawal or deposit.
Application
Form you must fill out to open a bank account.
PIN number
Personal identification number; a number you choose and use to gain access to various accounts .
Withdraw
Take money out of a bank account.
Balance
The amount of money that is left in your account.
Vault
The secure place a bank keeps its money.
Overdrawn
To have spent more money than is in your account.
Deposit
To put money into a bank account.
Checking Account
A bank account that allows withdrawals by writing a check.
Savings Account
A bank account that helps you save money and earn a small amount of interest at the same time.
Bank Card
A card used to make a purchase or used at an ATM.
Bank

Fee
A fixed sum of money charged by the bank (subtracted from your balance)
Check

A piece of paper that shows when, where, and what you paid for.
Check Register
A record of deposits and withdrawals from an account. Helps you keep track of how much money is in your account.
ATM
Automatic Teller Machine-a bank machine that allows you to take money out of your account or make deposits.
Cash
Money in the form of bills or coins.
