-Relating to the universe syn-global, immense ant- non relating to the world

Repetition

-Repeated use of sounds, words, or ideas for effect and emphasis. -There is a lot of repetition used in your essay.

-The central idea of any passage, selection, or article. -Be careful what you wish for was the theme of this story.

Tone

-The writer's attitude towards his or her subject -I could tell from the tone of her letter that she was upset with me

Alliteration
