What do you think about your previous boss?

My previous boss is a wonderful person. She is always going the extra mile for her organization and to keep her employees and patients happy. she is a very heart warming person.

Organizational skills

Some organizational skills I have gained in the work field are answering phone calls in a timely manner, I have to stay on schedule at work, I am constantly making notes to stay on top of my work.

What would your colleagues say about you?

That I am driven, and hard working. I like to help others as much as possible and that I am very punctual

Communication skills

To me, communicatin is a must. I take alot of phone calls at my current job. I also have to communicate with patients so I know their needs and wants. Being a certified nurse aide requires me to communicate with my coworkers such as giving each other reports when we do shift change.

How do you think you work under pressure?

When I am working under pressure, I use that as a goal to meet my dead line, It makes me work harder and better.

Team work

When I was working for a nurisng home facility, we had a patient who was choking. Without thinking, I Rushed to his side along with nurses and other aides. As a team we all helped this gentleman as we performed abdominal thrusts. It took 3 of us to help him but we worked together and saved him

What part of your job do you dislike the most?

When my patients are unsatisfied or unhappy. I try to do everything in my will power to keep them happy.

Are you willing to relocate?

Yes, I have a 20 mile radius that I am willing to travel.

Do you have plans to continue your education?

As of right now, I want to further my skills with this organization. I do not plan on taking on any classes at this time except with this organization.

Dedicated and hardworking, also kind hearted and easy to talk to.

Excela Health is the sole provider of health care in Westmoreland County. Their main goal and mission statement is To improve the health and well-being of every life they touch. Excela puts their patients first.

How would you deal with inter-employee problems?

You want to emphasize the need of your employees and I would turn negative conflict into positive tension that propels them to deal with future problems.

tell me a time you had many responsibilities and did you complete them

i dealt with many responsibilities as a certified nurse aid. I had many residents to care for at one time and the best way to handle that is to be punctual and not to get overwhelmed.

how well do you get along with other people

i like to work in a team environment and in my current job we had alot of tasks that had to be done as a team so I like to think of myself as a people person

i want this to be long term and if the company has opportunity for growth, then i want to grow with the organization

my ability to listen, my problem solving skills, i am ambitious and strive for success

strong work ethic

my strongest work ethic is that i am Dedicated. There were many times I went to work on my days off to help the staff, I also have stayed over my scheduled time at work to finish my job and to help others with theirs.

success to me is a set of goals or a subjective that i can accomplish

What is the most enjoyable part of your present job?

Being able to help my patients and leave a smile on their face. I love being able to make my residents happy

Interpersonal skills

Between school and work, I interact with people. In school, I have to interact in class such as answering questions and at work, I'm always interacting with my patients. I do activities at work such as our exercises

Are you comfortable working in a group or alone and why?

Both, because i have had jobs where I had to do my work alone, and i also worked in a group as well, and both seem to work fine for me. As a CNA, you work as a team but you also have your own responsibilities that you have to tend to alone.

what is your communication style

I can pick up on a person's body language and I believe it says a lot about a person. I also like to communicate verbally.

how well do you handle criticism

I decide whether criticism is valid or not, If it has to do with my job then I can grow from the criticism

how well do you work in a stressful envirnment

I do not respond to stress but to the situation itself. I simply prioritize and focus on solving the issue

How do you feel about carrying out responsibilities that you are over qualified for?

I have no problem doing anything in the work filed that requires me to step down or to step up. I was always told to treat the janitor the same way you wanted to be treated. I would carry out my duties with pride.

what do you do in your spare time

I like to keep up to date with the medical field since its always changing so I do research, I also enjoy reading a novel and spending time in a book store

How well do you take direction from a superior?

I listen well to my superior out of respect and because I can learn from my superior.

Problem solving skills

I once had two residents arguing over who was going to watch what on the tv, so to prevent them from arguing, I made a schedule of each of their shows and it seemed to work out.

What are your weaknesses

I tend to obsess over a situation I can not resolve. I also have a hard time saying no and I am working on that.

how well do you work within a team environment

I work well with others. My most current job is all about team work.

What was your most rewarding experience during school?

I would have to say that my biggest reward in school was being able to learn the skills of a Medical assistant.

how long will it take you to make a meaningful contribution to this organization

I would have to say within the first 30 days. That gives me time to know what the companies standards are and what I have to offer

if ypu were hiring for a position, what would you look for in a candidate?

I would want someone who is highly motivated and can handle a challenge. I would also look for a honest candidate.

Technical skills

Im proficient with microsoft word, i am experienced in word processing, I am also familiar with clinicals skills such blood draws, taking vitals, urinalysis, patient transfers, CPR and first aid.
