(Referring to Hadith on Pg. 188) How do you interpret the Prophet (pbuh)'s square diagram? What was he trying to convey to his companions?
There was a man, and a square representing his life span and the border of the square inevitable death, encircling him from all sides, and the line which was outside the square were his hopes, and the small lines are the calamities and troubles that may befall him, and if one misses him, another will befall him, and if that misses him, a third will befall him. Essentially, your death is already planned for you, even if you have overcome many struggles others will come until one finally ends your life.
List some differences of how a 'good' and 'bad' soul will be resurrected. (Pg. 190)

They sit amongst the dying person and say, "O good soul, come out to Allah's Mercy and Forgiveness" While when bad souls are resurrected, tar-faced Angels descend from the sky. These angels who are carrying a bad smelling stench, sit near the dying person and and says, "O bad soul! Come out to Allah's curse and anger."
