It is okay as long as you do not double dip and the food is cooked through enough that it is not raw. You should also use a separate utensil that is not being used to stir the dish. Should not use your fingers either.

Place the effected skin under cool water (not extreme cold) to stop the continuation of the burn. Leave the area open to the air if possible for healing, however if there is a blister or chance to of bacteria cover with a light bandage to keep area clean.

Using a clean bandage or cloth, put pressure on the wound to stop the bleeding. Then seek medical help.

How do you care for a small cut?
Wash it with soap and water or rubbing alcohol. Then cover it with a band aid. Use a glove, if you are working with food.
Describe the steps of washing your hands?
Wet your hands with warm water and lather with soap for at least 20 seconds. Be sure to get your wrists, fingernails and between your fingers. Then rinse the soap off under warm water while pointing your hands downwards. Dry your hands and use paper towel to turn off the water. After cutting spicy peppers.

You should be sure to remove the entire lid before emptying the contents.

You should keep the point/tip pointed downward. With the blade facing away from your hand use a soapy wet washcloth to wipe the knife from the backside. Careful to not run your hands along the blade.
