What is your theme song?
Born this Way by Lady Gaga because I am very strong, proud, and confident! I have learned to be proud of who I am and to embrace all my flaws and imperfections because as the song says "I'm beautiful in my way, 'cause God makes no mistakes." I try to stay very positive and open-minded in this world as it makes life much easier.

Tell me about yourself?
Hi, I'm Emily Ball and I have had 4 previous jobs which all required me to learn new skills as well as to enhance my previous skills because there is always room for improvement. First off, I worked at Country Style where I learned very good customer service and time management. I then worked as a full serve gas attendant and a cashier. I experienced many busy days and was always able to keep on moving even under stressful measures. I had many difficult customers that I always handled respectfully. Lastly, I worked as a Fashion Associate at Walmart where I learned many more skills that would be very valuable in this workplace. This job allowed me to have more customer interactions one on one where I was able to help them with what they were looking for, or looking for their size, and also giving the customers suggestions and options. I always tried my best to use my bubbly personality to make sure that the customer felt welcomed and comfortable in our store so that they feel more comfortable to approach me or a fellow associate if they have a question. Making them feel a bond with the associate made it much easier to up-sell products as they would feel more comfortable taking your word for it. The connection between all of these jobs was that the main purpose is to always have the customer leaving with a smile on their face, for them to have enjoyed their time that they will come back and shop here again.
What is your best quality?
I would like to say my best quality is my bubbly personality that makes everyone feel welcomed and noticed. I can always livin' up the mood anywhere at anytime.
How would you deal with an upset customer?
If the customer was unhappy because of the product I would reference the return policy and see if they can return it. If the customer was unhappy because they could not find a particular product I would find the item for them and not just point them in a general direction. If the customer was unhappy because we don't have a certain product in stock or in a certain colour I would find nearby stores with that specific product or direct them to the online store or even order it with them if they prefer that as well.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
In 5 years I hope to have completed university at uOttawa and to have applied to law school. I would love to work for lulu-lemon in these next 5 years. I would also like to see myself grow as a person in these next 5 years and truly discover who I am.
Why do you want to work for Lululemon?
Lululemon is a phenomenal store that has never let me down with their quality of their product and their service. I have been shopping at lulu-lemon for over 10 years. My mom always wore lulu-lemon groove pants to work. She always loved the material that she slowly started getting my sister and I lulu-lemon. Ever since then I have fallen in love with the products. I want to work here because I know I can be honest with the customers when I tell them how amazing lulu-lemon products are. Not only that but I am big on positive work environments and every single time I have been in a lulu-lemon I have always gotten positive vibes from the staff and would love to be apart of it.
What is your favourite way to sweat?
My favourite way to sweat is either learning and doing tik tok dances or playing basketball which is my favourite sport.
What is your greatest weakness?
My greatest weakness is not being able to ask for help when I need it. I always want to be able to do it on my own and not make any mistakes. I suppose I fear making a mistake and letting someone down. Although I have come along way. In grade 9 when I started at Country Style it was my first job and it took me a few tries to remember everything and I was scared to ask for help as if they would've been upset I needed it. Now in my most recent job I felt way more comfortable asking for help if I didn't know the answer to something or just needed help completing a task. While I have come a long way it is still something I am always working on improving.
Would you have problems working during the holidays?
No not at all. That is a time when all hands must be on deck to work together as a team to make maximum sales and to ensure customer satisfaction at our location no matter how busy it is.
