"three-head muscle of the arm"; A large muscle on the back of the upper limb of many vertebrates; muscle primarily responsible for extension of the elbow joint (straightening the arm)

"two headed muscle of the arm"; large muscle that lies on the front of the upper arm between the shoulder and the elbow.

Trapezius

a muscle that extends from the cervical/thoracic areas of the spine outwards in a triangle; support the scapula

Pectoralis major

a thick, fan-shaped muscle which makes up the bulk of the chest muscle; lies under the breast; serves to flex, extend, and rotate humerus (long bone of upper arm)

Pectoralis minor

a thin, triangular muscle located beneath the pectoralis major; attaches to the ribs, and serves to stabilize the scapula (large bone of the shoulder on the back)

Deltoid

large muscle responsible for lifting the arm and giving the shoulder its range of motion; located at the uppermost part of the arm, at the shoulder.

Pectoral muscles

muscles that connect the front of the human chest with the bones of the upper arm and shoulder.; commonly known as "pecs"
