Disability Support Services (DSS)
Did you have a 504 plan or an IEP in high school? You may be eligible to request reasonable accommodations with _____________________________. Students must be currently enrolled in a degree-seeking program. There are no minimum institutional credit requirements to participate in co-ops and internships, but at least a sophomore standing is recommended. Other requirements include: A minimum 2.75 cumulative GPA for undergraduate students. Have completed a Charger Path profile including an uploaded and approved resume.

Third, fourth and fifth semesters are all field/hospital rotations with minimal time in the lab- typically in preparation for going to the hospital post-graduation. (i.e. OB rotation- work with birthing simulator before hospital rotation) or to augment situations from the hospital. Students are placed by faculty at the various clinical sites.

Pass-Fail (P-F)
A student wishing to exercise a P-F option rather than receiving a standard letter grade must apply at the Office of the Registrar when registering or before the end of the third week of classes. Any undergraduate student not on academic probation may take courses on a P-F basis. Only certain courses are available for P-F.

Installment plan enrollment is open approximately one month prior to the beginning of a semester and is available until approximately midterms. Installment payment plans are accessed via the UAH website (uah.edu/bursar). Four and five part plans are available until the last day to add. Installment plans are only available for fall and spring semesters.

The Charger Foundations

The co-op program
intentionally provides a balance of work and school.
