dogma (n): Many cultures have different dogmas that are passed down from generation to generation.

Brazen (adj): The bull was brazen when it was released from its cage to fight the bullfighter.

Eradicate (verb): Hitler attempted to eradicate Jewish people but luckily he failed.

Extrapolate (verb): It is ignorant to form opinions on something without extrapolating beforehand.

to form an opinion or to estimate something using known facts

Resonate (verb): Death resonates with a lot of people because everyone knows someone or something close to them that has died.

to have particular meaning or importance for someone; to affect or appeal to someone in a personal or emotional way

Aggrandize (v): In order to make more sales, the salesman aggrandized the value of his product.

to increase the power, statues, or wealth of; to make yourself or something sound better than it actually is

Retract (v): Cats can retract their claws so that they don't get in the way if they are not needed.
