Biology chapter 3 section 3.1
A group of similar organisms that can breed and produce fertile offspring.
Species
Different populations that live together.
Community
Group of ecosystems that share similar climates and typical organisms
Biome
Our planet with it's organisms and physical environment.
Biosphere
All organisms that live in a place, together with their physical environment.
Ecosystem
An ecosystem is just all the organisms that live in a place, together with their physical environment. A Biome is a group of ecosystems that share similar climates and typical organisms.
Explain the relationship between ecosystems and biomes.
A group of Individuals that belong to the same species and live in the same area.
Population
Biotic factors: Any living part of the environment with which an organism might interact, including animals, plants, mushrooms, and bacteria. Abiotic factors: Any non-living part of the environment
What are biotic and abiotic factors?
It contains every organism on Earth.
What does the biosphere contain?
The Scientific study of interactions among organisms and between organisms and their physical environment
What is Ecology?
There are so many different ways and things to study.
Why are many ecological phenomena difficult to study?
