Circulatory System
the group of organs and tissues that transport essential materials to body cells and remove their waste products- *transportation system*
Digestive
the process by which the body breaks down food into smaller components that can be absorbed by the bloodstream and sent to each cell in your body to use as *energy*
Respiratory System
the set of organs that supplies your body with oxygen and rids your body of carbon dioxide
Nervous System
the system of nerves in your body that sends messages for controlling movement and feeling between the brain and other parts of the body- *control and communication system*
Excretory
the system that removes wastes from the body and controls water balance- *exit*
Muscular
tissues that move parts of the body and operate internal organs-made up of muscle tissue, allows body to move
Organ
a body part (such as a heart or brain) made up of different tissues joined together to perform a *specific* function
