Future Progressive Formed: will be + present participle Ex: I will be dancing the night away at the wedding.

has yet to finish, will be ongoing and finish before another action begins

Future Progressive Formed: will have been + present participle Ex: By the time she graduates, she will have been dancing for 9 years.

Future Simple/ Regular

Future Simple/Regular Formed: will + present Ex: They will dance next Sunday.

Past Perfect

began in the past and finished before another action begins

Past Perfect Formed: has + past participle Ex: I had flown 100 times before my children had flown once.

She had been landing all her turns

Past Perfect Progressive

begins in the past, was ongoing and is finished before another action begins

Past Prefect Progressive Formed: had been + present participle Ex: He had been flying 7 times before I met him.

Jenna was doing amazing at Dance yesterday

Past Progressive

begins in past and was on going or recurring and is now done

Past Progressive Formed: was/were + present participle Ex: He was flying across the country yesterday.

Ethan drove to school on Tuesday.

Past Simple/ Regular

action began in past and is finished

Past Simple/Regular Formed: past (pp) Ex: Last November, the bird flew to Florida

Present Perfect

began in the past and reoccurs or is ongoing

Present Perfect Formed: has/have + past participle Ex: He has fought all his life.

I have been playing sports pretty much since I was born

Present Perfect Progressive

He has fought a lot with his siblings.

Present Prefect

began in the past AND is ongoing/happening now

Present Progressive Formed: has/have been + present participle Ex: Jacob and Evan have been fighting practically since Evan was born.
