The second thing revealed from this scenario is that Klara's ability to connect is not at the same level as humans. -These forced interactions have no real substance, leaving Josie and students like her incredibly lonely and without the proper social skills to form real and meaningful connections. - purchase Klara to help with this loneliness and being left at home alone all the time. - The Mother, for example, is motivated by her desperate desire to avoid feeling- for a second time- the grief and loneliness of losing a child.
