The horizontal change between any two points on a line

slope

The rate of change between any two points on a line. The ratio of the rise, or vertical change, to the run, or horizontal change.

Rise

The vertical change between any two points on a line

y-intercept

the point at which the line crosses the y-axis

slope-intercept form

y=mx+b, where m is the slope and b is the y-intercept of the line. It is the general way of writing an equation.
