Biological warfare- the use of biological toxins or infectious agents such as bacteria, viruses, and fungi with the intent to kill or incapacitate humans, animals or plants as an act of war.
How was childbed fever spread to women in hospitals?
Physicians that worked with the women would enter the dead room prior to operations and not change their aprons or wash their hands. Therefore, bacteria would be brought on the physicians and onto the patient.
