What are the stages of stress?
1: Alarm - body prepares for action 2: Resistance: attempts are made to cope with specific stressors 3: Exhaustion: body can no longer resist stressor
What are types of role conflict?
4 types 1) Intersender role conflict: results from conflicting expectations of different role senders 2) Intrasender role conflict: occurs when a single role sender transmits incompatible expectations 3) inter-role conflict: comes about through incompatible demand of different role 4) person-role conflict: results from clashes between role demands and person values and expectations
