Children (mostly boys) like to watch "JackSepticEye," "PewDiePie" and "Stampylonghead" which do not play on TV but on there streaming apps.

Obviously, the choice to have more options and watch when ever is favored over the traditional TV.

Often, boys tend to enjoy watching "video-game commentators and comedians," and although girls have slightly different tastes, "they still prefer internet video" over cable TV (Newsela Staff, paragraphs 14-15).

On Netflix, there are shows that aren't on TV that are very popular like Stranger Things plus good shows that air on TV that make kids prefer these apps to the regular tradition.
