An object at rest will remain at rest unless acted on by an outside force. An object in motion stays in motion unless acted upon by an outside force.

Speed = Distance/Time 300 / 6 = 50 mph

Calculate: A car travels 300 km in 6 hours. What is its speed?

Distance x Time 800 x 9 = 7200 km

Force = Mass x Acceleration

Heavy objects with more mass need more force to move than lighter objects
