Emilia - Emilia does not know Iago's plan. She thinks he is genuine.

Iago - Watch to see if Desdemona acts flirty with Cassio.

Iago - apostrophe

"Nor for my manhood, honesty, or wisdom, to let you know my thoughts."

Iago - basically refuses to tell what he was thinking

"That he would steal away so guilty-like, seeing you coming."

Iago puts it in Othello's head that Cassio is avoiding Othello.

"Jealous: It is a monster"

Metaphor

"No, Iago; I'll see before I doubt; when I doubt, prove;"

Othello - He has to see for himself to believe it.

"I think my wife be honest, and think she is not; I think that thou art just, and think thou art not."

Othello - Paradox

"And when I love thee not, chaos is come again."

Othello - foreshadowing - eventually there will come a time when Othello doesn't love Desdemona anymore.

"I do not think but Desdemona is honest."

Othello believes that Des is loyal.

"Make it darling like your precious eye; to lose it or give it away were suck perdition as nothing else could match."
