- Environmental justice is the fair treatment and involvement of all kinds of people regardless of their backgrounds, with respect to the enforcement of environmental laws. - It's importance bc it allows everyone to have some say in the ideas and decisions that will impact lives. Without this, many people would be victims of the plans of others.

- Intersectionality is the how different aspects of a person intersect with each other. - There could be intersecting roles that are making someone go through poverty for example, one may be disabled and because of them they aren't able to work. Another thing could be that a black, women isn't able to obtain a job because of her race and her gender. Its harder for her to find that job based on her intersectionality due to discrimination.

- Social work is a profession that helps people get the basic needs, rights and values. - To assist and advocate for change in the lives of people and to reduce inequalities. It's also to get rid of personal stress in individuals.
