Steps for hand washing

Never allow clothing to touch sink

Prepare disposable paper towels

Discard paper towel

Do not flick hands to remove water

Remove all jewelry

Repeat soap application and lather, interlace fingers well and wash with vigorous circular motions including wrists for at least one minute or longer

Rinse hands with hands pointed down and lower than the elbow

Rinse well keeping hands pointed downward

Roll sleeves above elbows

Use a clean paper towel to turn off faucet

Use another paper towel to dispense soap

Use blotting motions to dry hands with clean paper towel

Use paper towel to turn on faucet

Wash hands, scrub with a scrub brush to clean nail beds and in between fingers
