Medium shot (MS)
The camera is at a medium distance from the subject. This shot a of person is usually from the waist up.
Long shot (LS)
The camera is enough away to establish an overall view of the scene. When the subject is a person, this shot reveals all the person's body.
Close-up (CU)
The camera is so close to the action that it isolates a single detail. This shot of a person means that his or her face fill most of the screen.

the most common type of traveling shot. in some of these shots the camera and the subject both move as the camera "tracks"the subject

Canted angle
Camera shows subject from a tilted angle. Often used to portray psychological uneasiness or tension.

a camera movement where the camera stays in one place, but pivots to the left or right
tilt
a camera movement where the camera stays in one place, but pivots up or down
rule of thirds
a concept in a video and film production in which the frame is divided into nine imaginary sections. This creates reference points which act as a guide for framing the image. Points (or lines) of interest should occur 1/3 or 2/3 of the way up (or across) the frame rather than in the center.
key frame
