A consumer eats a producer.

A living thing that gets energy by eating plants and other animals. A decomposer is a living thing that gets energy by eating plants and other animals. (Ex. Mushrooms, earthworms, and bacteria). Producers make food. Consumers and decomposers eat other plants and animals.

Consists of many food chains. it follows the paths of many plants and animals.
