Britain used Australia for its land and resources and the aboriginal people rebelled but were then killed for it. In NEw Zealand, the same thing essentially happened as the maori people stopped selling their lands but they lost their wars against them.

The british put the fat of pigs and cows to grease rifle cartridges. These animals were sacred/not to be killed by the sepoys religion. Therefore they thought they were trying to be converted to Christianity and the Indian Rebellion of 1857 happened. They lost but Indian nationalism increased.
Explain Ghost Dance and how it impacted the Sioux.
The native Americans believed their ancestors would come back to life to wipe out the white people from their lands. The dance was a ritual done to have this event come faster. The dance spread and the Sioux who were revolutionaries wore "ghost shirts' ' but their revolts ended in 1890 during the eWounded Knee Massacre. (also end of the Indian Wars)
