Virgil was a poet who wrote the most famous literature, named the Aeneid, in it he talks about the government of Rome and what great contributions it made.

Aqueducts were made and used by the Romans and are still used today. Also the Colosseum is one of the greatest feats of engineering.

Tacitus and his contributions

Tacitus was a Roman historian, he presented the facts accurately, which made him notable compared to other historians, he also was concerned about Roman's lack of morality.

Arches, domes, cement were all created by the Romans, they all helped make buildings easier and in a more efficient way.

The Romans created Latin, which has been developed into French, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish, and Romanian, and also more than half the words in the English language are based on Latin words. It was also the official language of the Roman Catholic Church at one point.
