Convey It With Color

Colors convey feelings, moods, and even cultural beliefs. For example, red is often associated with anger, danger, and love, and it has been shown to raise blood pressure. On the other hand, blue is said to have a calming effect. Purple is regarded in some cultures as a symbol of royalty, while green often represents the environment. Therefore, in addition to using colors that will create optimal clarity on screen, you also want to use colors to convey the appropriate feeling.

The Design Tab

a one-stop shop with predesigned slides to create visually compelling presentations. While there are many different designs from which to choose, you want to select designs that support the purpose of your presentation and highlight your content clearly and effectively.

Variants

allows you to choose an alternative color palette for your selected theme. The color palette is predefined based on color theory.

Themes

allows you to choose slides with preformatted colors and designs. The color and designs are applied to each slide (title, content, section header, etc.) in your presentation.

Customize

allows you to format the background (the area behind your content) with a solid color or a picture saved on your computer. You can customize either the background of individual slides or all the slides in your presentation by selecting "Apply to All."
