Environmental context

Consists of the situation (set of circumstances) in which behaviour occurs at any given time. Eg. The room, the bar, the party, the people

Stimulus class

Is a group of stimuli that share specified common elements along formal(eg. Size, colour), Temporal (eg. Antecedent or Consequent), and/or Functional (eg. Discriminative stimulus)

Environment

Is the total constellation of stimuli and conditions which can affect behaviour. It is both inside and outside of the skin.

Stimulus

is a change in the environment which can affect behaviour. It is common to talk of onset/offset of a stimulus versus the attenuation/magnification of a stimulus. Eg. Light turns on, light brightens, light dims, light turns off, light changes from green to red.
