A lab is hands on learning. some labs are connected with lectures, while others can be taken independently

AEC is the academic Enhancement Center and is located on the 4th floor of Roosevelt Hall. they offer individual academic coaching and tutoring to fit any students academic needs.

Absolutely put it on your pink sheet, but be prepared with a few alternatives in case it fills up.

What do you do if a student wants to change their major mid-advising

Help them select courses for their major using the learning community sheets, and then assure that they will meet with the right advisor on Day 2. (exceptions: kinesiology, nursing, pharmacy)

What does it mean when prov/cce is the location of a class? what are some differences between prov/cce and Kingston classes

It means that the class is located on the Providence campus. The main difference is location, but oftentimes, these classes meet in the evening

These credits can be accepted at URI based on the scores received. For students who are still awaiting their results, we will assume that they passed in order to avoid duplicate credits

Yup. however, most students prefer to have a balanced schedule

depends on your major. Most students tend to go sophomore or Junior year. You can also go during summer or winter break. Talk with advisors about options.

for most students, it is 120, but it can vary by major

What is a recitation

its a supplementary class that must be taken in combination with certain lecture classes. they're used for extra review or administering tests and quizzes
