How do natural language processors determine the emotion of a text?

The natural language processors determine the emotion of a text is by using key words from the text and then they determine the emotion on those words.

Which statistic was most interesting to you? Why?

The statistic that is most inetersting to me is the netfilx recommendation. It is interesting to me because can recommend people shows and/or movies based off of what people watch.

Is this an example of Strong or Weak AI? How do you know?

This an example of a weak AI. I know this because this did not impersonate a person. It took a lot long time to figure out the drawing.

Which of the following machine learning algorithms groups data and finds patterns without the help of training data?

Unsupervised Learning

Voice assistant tools like the Google Home or Siri are examples of what type of Artificial Intelligence?

Weak Artificial Intelligence

Were any of the tools that use AI surprising? Why?

Yes, unlocking your phone is surprising to me. This is surprising to me because it is crazy to me that AI is able to open my phone by my face. Also to be able to change our appearance and it still able to open the phone.

algorithm

like a node but is any computer code

What percentage of global consumers interact with organizations through AI on a daily basis? Is this number greater or lower than you expected?

54% of global consumers interact with organizations through AI on a daily basis. I expected the number to me greater.

Which of the following datasets is least likely to cause biased results?

A pesticide company tests its product on a variety of different species in a variety of different climates to determine its efficiency.

How do consumers feel generally about AI? How do you know this, and why do you think that is?

Consumers feel have mix feelings about AI. I think this because the percentage is in the 50%.

Should facial recognition software be used? Why or why not?

Facial recognition software should not be used because it is miss identifying people.

True or False: Artificial Intelligence poses an immediate threat to job security around the world.

False

True or False: Because Artificial Intelligence is able to learn on it's own, it doesn't require the use of algorithms to develop.

False

True or False: Most Artificial Intelligence is inherently unethical.

False

To what extent do you think the computer's text analysis is accurate?

I think the computer's text analysis is somewhat accurate. I think this because an AI can intercept something wrong, just like humans.

How do you think this program works? Use your best guess to imagine how they might be able to create a program like this!

I think this program works by guessing what people draw. For example, it will try to suggest off of the picture you are drawing to make it look better or more like the thing.

Using our definition of intelligence, would you describe this program as intelligent? Why or why not?

I would describe this program as intelligent because it can guess what you are drawing.

How long did it take for the computer to guess what you drew compared to your partner? Is this what you expected?

It took the computer a lot long to guess the drawing I drew. I did expected this because AIs are not always like people's brains.

If your model was not 100% accurate, which images did it struggle with? Why do you think this is the case? What do you think you do to make your model more accurate?

My model got the blue pictures right but the red picture wrong. I think that it thought that all the pictures were blue. I think you have to get the red objects close to the camera and do more items.

If your model was 100% accurate, why do think this was the case?

My model was not 100% accurate.

Which of the following is not an example of Machine Learning?

Natural Language Processors

Was your model able to accurately predict the color of the test images?

No, the model was not able to accurately predict the color of the test images.

Are there other examples of data bias that you've encountered?

Other examples of data bias that I have encountered is fingerprint to open a phone.

Two programs are developed using the same exact Artificial Intelligence software. Program A is exposed to 10 users, while the Program B is exposed to 10000 users. What is the relationship between these two programs as a result of their exposure to users.

Program B is likely to create more accurate output than Program A.

What are some of the impacts of facial recognition bias?

Some of the impacts of facial recognition bias are a computer not being able to recognize you face and taking the wrong person for a crime.

What are some potential solutions for this issue?

Some potential solution for this issues is having a database that recognizes everyone's face.

Which of the following layers of a neural network randomly assigns weight to input values in order evaluate the importance of certain inputs?

The Hidden Layer

How might the ability to determine the emotion of a text be useful?

The ability to determine the emotion of a text is useful because you know if the text is happy or sad or joyful or angry before you read it.

node

hidden layer; computer code, gets input received from another algorithm transmitting to computer to computer or algorithm or algorithm
