Pts daily does does not count towards EMS dose Chewing ASA allows for rapid absorption NOT FOR PEDIATRIC ADMINISTRATION Should still be administered if suspected cardiac chest pain is relieved PTA Determine if pt is taking anticoagulants. A significant portion of asthmatic pts (5-20%) have a sensitivity to ASA. Monitor respiratory status of all asthma pts following administration.
