no soldier can quarter without consent of law but, must be prescribed by law

provides for the right to a jury trail in federal courts to settle all disputes about property worth more than $20

right to a speedy and public trial

right to well regulated militia and to keep and bear arms.

states retain powers not delegated under the Constitution and not prohibited by it to the states
