Affect

Affect is the range of feelings in the forms of emotions and moods that people experience.

An attitude

An attitude is a predisposition to respond positively or negatively to someone or something.

Cognitive dissonance

Emotion and mood contagion is the spillover of one's emotions and mood onto others.

Emotional dissonance is inconsistency between emotions we feel and those we try to project.

Emotional empathy is the ability to feel what the other person is experiencing in a particular situation.

Emotional intelligence

Emotional intelligence is an ability to understand emotions and manage relationships effectively.

Emotional labor is a situation in which a person displays organizationally desired emotions in a job.

Emotions are strong positive or negative feelings directed toward someone or something

Organizational identification is the extent to which a person identifies with his or her membership organization.

Emotional Awareness Intelligence Competencies

Self-Awareness Understanding our emotions and their impact on ourselves and others Social Awareness Empathy; understanding the emotions of others and their impact on relationships Self-Management Self-regulation; thinking before acting and staying in control of our emotions Relationship Management Rapport; making use of emotions to build and maintain good relationships

Social emotions

Social emotions derive from external sources. emotions such as pity, envy, and jealousy derive from external cues and information.

Workplace bullying

Workplace bullying is one person acting in an abusive, demeaning, intimidating, and/or violent manner toward another on a continuing basis.

Employee engagement is a strong sense of connection with the organization and passion for one's job.
