A postmodern practice in which one artist reproduces an image created by another and claims it as his or her own
Re-contextualization
A postmodern practice in which the meaning of an image or object is changed by the context in which it is placed

The creation of artworks using disparate media to create a unified conceptual statement

The physical manifestation of an idea, as opposed to the content, which refers to the idea of itself. The organization or arrangement of visual elements to create a unified design. A 3D composition or unit within a 3D composition

The study of human responses to art and beauty

The study of symbolic visual systems or describing images
