How did the Reform Act of 1832 change Parliament?
It did not bring full democracy, but if did give a greater political vote to middle class-men. Landowning nobles remained a powerful force in the government and in the economy.
How was the British Parliament reformed during the early 1800's?
It was the turn of Gladstone and the Liberal Party to end suffrage. Their reforms gave the vote to farmworkers and most older men.
What reforms did the Liberal and Conservative parties achieved?
Liberal wanted to restrict power of the Lords,including power to veto their bills. The Lords resisted. Conservative-gave the vote to many working class men,the new law almost doubled size the electorate

Long standing laws kept many people from voting. Catholics and non-Anglican Protestants could not vote or serve in Parliament.
What values did Queen Victoria represent and how did these values relate to economic reform?
She witnessed the growing agitation for social reform. Victorian age went on-reformers continued the push toward greater social and economic justice.

They demanded universal manhood suffrage, annual parliamentary elections, and salaries for members of Parliament.
