percent

A field format that multiplies the value entered by 100 and displays it with a percent sign.

decimal frction

A fraction with a denominator (or multiple) of 10, such as 100, 1,000, and 10,000.

bar graph

A graph that uses horizontal or vertical bars to display data

line graph

A graph that uses points connected by lines to show how something changes in value

circle graph

A graph used to compare parts of a whole. The circle represents the whole and is separated into parts of the whole.

pictograph

A picture or drawing representing words or ideas.

table

A set of rows and columns used to organize information.

mean

Average

area measurement

Measured in square feet, inches, yards, etc.

metric system

The decimal measuring system based on the meter, liter, and gram as units of length, capacity, and weight or mass.

degree Celsium

The metric measure for temperature.

liter

The metric measure for volume.

gram

The metric measure for weight.

median

The number exactly in the middle when a group of numbers is listed in order.

mode

The number that occurs most often in a set of data

common fraction

Two fractions that have the same denominator.
