What are the steps in AED?
(Step 1: Do CPR. 30 compressions and 2 breaths. Step 2: Turn the AED on and make sure the chest is bare. Step 3: Then attach the electrode pads to the patient. One pad on the right clavicle and beside the patient's sternum. The other pad on the left side of the ribs and a few inches below the armpit. Step 4: The AED will automatically analyze a patient's heart rhythm. Step 5: It will alert to shock or not. Step 6: Resume back to CPR if it does need a shock. Stand clear if it did advise a shock. Step 7: Resume back to CPR once shock is given. Step 8: Continue until the voice instructions says to stop, the patient moves, or it says otherwise.)
