Data file

Chrome OS is an operating system designed by Google that is based on the Linux kernel and uses the Google Chrome web browser as its principal user interface.

Contains the Show hidden icons button, one notification icon, and the current time

In Windows, a shortcut is an icon that points to a program or data file.

icon

is an image that represents an application, a capability, or some other concept or specific entity with meaning for the user. An icon is usually select able but can also be a non select able image such as a company's logo.

is software that communicates with the hardware and allows other programs to run.

mail setup

tools you use to create e-mail accounts and directories, change settings for Outlook files, and set up multiple profiles of e-mail accounts and data files

automatic update

used to keep operating systems, antivirus software and web browsers more secure

program compatibility wizard

windows vista tool for changing the compatibility settings for a program
