Joy
A deep constant gladness in the Lord that circumstances cannot destroy. It comes from a good relationship with God and others-- a relationship of genuine love.
Modesty
A moderation in a,k you actions escpecially your conversation and external behavior. It is a sign that you give credit to God for your talents and successes. It is an attitude that protects what is most personal to us, refusing to reveal which should remain private, it guides the way a person looks at others and acts toward them, respecting the dignity of others.
Generosity
A willingness to give even at a cost to yourself. It expresses concern for meeting the needs of others even if it means sacrificing something of your own.
Love
Also known as charity, is shown is selfless service to others by your words and actions. It is a sign that you love God and that you love others as Jesus loves you.
Chasity
Being faithful to one's sexuality in conduct and intention. It helps us live out out sexuality in a proper manner, foe example. Married people are celibate to the entire world except one person--their spouse. All people, married and single, are called to practice chastity.
Peace
Comes from knowing that all will work out well because God is with us. Jesus said to his disciples on Easter morning, "Peace I give you." A disciple faithful to God's will is serene, not overly anxious or upset.
Goodness
Flows from God's great love. It is a sign that you love all people without exception and do good to them.
Gentleness
Has the power to forgive instead of getting angry. Strength tempered by love leads you to k be gentle, peaceful, and gracious.
Faithfulness
Helps you keep your promises. It helps you show your loyalty towards God and to those whom you have committed yourself. Faithful people are dependable, trustworthy, and obedient.
Patience
Love that is willing to endure life's suffering and difficulties, the routine and the unexpected. It means not giving up in difficult or unwelcome situations. We are confronted with these difficulties on a daily basis.
The Fruits of the Spirit
Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control, goodness, modesty and chasity
Kindness
Shown by generous acts of service. Kind people are compassionate and considerate. They see the best in others.
What are the Fruits of the Holy Spirit?
They are the result of the Spirit's presence, and gifts in a believing person, they are the result of cooperating with God's grace. The Fruits are love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, ventless, self-control, modesty, and chastity.
Self-Control
You can discipline your physical and emotional desires by being modest and respectful of others. You can be in charge of high emotions instead of the other way around.
