MyPyramid vs myplate. My Pyramid is a much more complex and deeper illustration of food recommendations with also creating a new focus on importance of physical activity. Myplate is a simple illustration which breaks up a plate into 4 sections with an added section for dairy drinks. This illustration is much easier to understand than the MyPyramid
